01
who provides the service
on display. provides the ondisplay.app website and the on display. app during invited testing. contact us at contact@ondisplay.app; support is available at support@ondisplay.app.
these terms apply when you choose to use the service. if you do not agree, do not use it. mandatory rights provided by applicable consumer or data-protection law remain unaffected.
02
a service in development
there is no public app download yet. invited testing provides an early collector experience, and features can change, be limited, interrupted or withdrawn. descriptions of planned features are not a promise of availability or a release date.
the prototype includes collection browsing, local displays, profiles and selected publishing features. selected solana listing and cancellation are in testing. broader trading, in-app evm orders, sending to usernames, cross-device display sync and paid checkout are not being offered as completed services under these terms.
an invitation is for the intended tester and does not authorize distribution of the app to others.
03
your account
public collection browsing does not require an account. account and publishing features require the supported sign-in or permission checks shown in the app. provide information you are entitled to use, protect your sign-in methods and tell support if you suspect unauthorized access.
a displayed username, social link, badge or collection page is not proof of asset ownership, endorsement or financial safety. do not impersonate someone else, misrepresent collection-management authority or present an unverified claim as approval.
04
external wallets and transactions
on display. is a collector app that connects to external wallets. it does not hold your private wallet keys, import recovery phrases, or take custody of your assets. connecting or viewing a public address does not transfer assets to on display.
a supported transaction must be reviewed and approved in your external wallet. check the network, asset, action, price, fees and approvals before signing. a message that proves wallet control is different from a transaction authorization. never give support your recovery phrase, private key or sign-in code.
blockchains and marketplaces operate independently of the app. approved transactions may be irreversible, network or marketplace charges may apply, and a submitted transaction is not necessarily confirmed or indexed. on display. cannot guarantee that a listing will appear immediately, that an order will execute, or that an approved transaction can be cancelled or reversed.
marketplace and wallet providers have their own terms. a collectible’s appearance in the app is not an investment recommendation, valuation, authentication guarantee or partnership announcement. digital assets can lose value.
05
your content and other people’s rights
you retain the rights you hold in content you submit. you grant the operator a non-exclusive permission to store, process, resize and display that content only as needed to operate the features you choose, including presenting content you publish to others. this permission does not transfer ownership of your artwork to us.
only upload or publish content you have the right to use. owning a token does not necessarily give you copyright, trademark or other rights in its associated artwork. third-party creators retain their rights, and exported displays remain subject to those rights.
publicly uploaded media can remain accessible through its file url after a profile is made private or its picture is replaced. use the removal-request process in the privacy policy for previously uploaded files. cached, downloaded or independently shared copies may remain beyond our control.
do not upload illegal content, malicious files, private information without permission, fraudulent listings, impersonation or material that violates another person’s rights. do not bypass access restrictions or interfere with the service. report concerns to support@ondisplay.app with enough information to identify the content; do not include wallet secrets.
06
access, moderation and ending use
we may restrict content or access to address a breach of these terms, a security threat or a legal requirement. where reasonably possible and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact support about the decision. urgent protective action may be necessary first.
you can stop using the service at any time. account closure, data export and removal of previously uploaded media currently require a support request. stopping use, signing out or disconnecting a wallet does not itself delete online content or cancel an on-chain listing.
local displays and exports are not a guaranteed online backup. keep copies of work you want to preserve before changing devices or removing local app data. see the privacy policy for retention, removal and public-blockchain limitations.
07
test access and future paid features
current complimentary test access, badges and cosmetic grants are not a purchase or subscription. this version does not offer completed subscription billing or one-time cosmetic checkout. a premium label in the prototype is not an instruction to pay.
if paid services are introduced, their price, scope, billing, cancellation and applicable consumer terms will be presented before you choose to purchase. these terms do not authorize a future charge. separate network or marketplace fees may still apply to an external-wallet transaction you approve.
08
service limitations and your rights
we aim to provide a useful service, but testing can involve defects, incomplete coverage, inaccurate third-party metadata and interruptions. we cannot promise uninterrupted availability, complete collection discovery, investment outcomes or the performance of an independent blockchain, wallet or marketplace.
nothing in these terms excludes liability or removes a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. your mandatory consumer protections continue to apply. please contact support about a problem so we can investigate it.
09
changes and contact
we will identify the effective date of these terms and give notice of material changes where required. if a new feature needs additional terms or permissions, they will be presented before you use it. changes do not retroactively authorize a transaction, charge or unrelated use of your data.
